Clinical classification of focal glomerulosclerosis

FSGS may be idiopathic, but also for many different end-stage disease common morphological features called "different means."
Depending on the type of disease pathogenesis and progression, from the morphological analysis can be divided into four types:
① peripheral type: peripheral glomerular sclerosis, hardened area often associated with parietal epithelial cell adhesion, common in children with idiopathic FSGS of this type;
② Mixed: glomerular sclerosis umbilical very transparent with vascular degeneration, vascular lesions began pole, adult idiopathic FSGS common in this type;

③ collapse types: open loop glomerular bad, shrinkage, widespread collapse of capillary loops, and more with this type of viral infection;
④ nodular type: mesangial matrix increase, the formation of nodules, often accompanied by clear goals arterial degeneration, diabetic nephropathy is a typical morphological changes.
